T61 / Win 8.1 x64 - which WLan driver ?

JUst upgraded from Win XP to 8.1 x64 on my T61, searching for the correct WLan driver.

Looking here

I found none for Win 8.1, so I switched to Win 7 x64, which offers 2:

Both say something about 'compatibilty issues' when I tried to install (first one when trying to bring up control panel after installation, second one wouldn't install at all).

So which WLan driver is recommended ?

If your T61 has the same Intel 4965AGN card that my T61p came with, I have in my install notes from installing Windows 10 earlier this year that the Intel-provided Vista drivers (version 11.5.0.32) had to be used and that the power saving checkbox under its page on the device manager had to be unchecked. This seems to enable full and complete functionality with no bluescreens. I do get random disconnects every once in a great while (few times a month maybe), but nothing terrible.
