Is there an N WiFi option that can be used in the T60(p) without a modified BIOS. Years ago I believe I saw conversations that had different opinions and maybe at another Forum it was maybe "argued". I've just put an older T60p in service and I'd like N WiFi I believe. NEEDED? NO
This T60p is presently running on 2.27 I believe from Lenovo. Current WiFi 3945ABG Intel

According to ThinkWiki, the T60 had one "N" card available from the factory:

If you can find one with the noted chipsets in a Lenovo OEM package, it should work without modifications.

Thank you - now I've got to ask!!
Do you maybe "gots'a couple" or more available? I need just a single but I do have a pair of T60(p) machines. Is there anything "definitive" on the labels that could maybe create a reason to take a chance. Does it require a 3d antenna?

Most common FRUs for these cards are 42T0825 and 42T0827. You don't *need* a third antenna, but it would improve the reception, at least theoretically...
