*Solved: fireGL V5200 or modded driver as x1600 will not install driver. Win 7pro 64bit

Will not take driver provided by ati installer (seen in installation log) or manually selected then microsoft says current use is recent and refuses to use provided driver. Running plain basic microsoft video driver right now under windows 7 pro 64.
I did try vista sp2 compatibilty before installing ati driver.
This is an T60p.
Any solutions?

Did you already try the have disk button then directed to the driver folder?

Could you have a T60p with replacement ATI X1300/X1400 mobo?
That would explain.
Check the mobo P/N or FRU.

FRU: 44C3909. And this board I just put in is correct for V5200 GPU package has GPU die on one corner with larger four ram in L pattern on three corners, not x1400 (ram at each corner with GPU die in middle.
I did see two types of x1300 one with set of ram on two corners, or V5200 package style with two chips missing on ebay pictures.
1. I see "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter"
2. Update the driver in different ways;
3. I get this: Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date.
Even executing the ATI installer results in a error log saying video driver failed to install.

Turns out this is an yet another x1400 motherboard. That is not what I wanted. The microsoft update utility loaded x1400 driver properly and is made by ATI this time. I did ask last time when I saw that and did not know what this part number actually x1400 or V5200.
Now I have a notebook that works totally, and wishing for a T60p motherboard.
Update, I was able to find 2 photos of same package of V5200 and x1400 to compare GPU die sizes and consulted the ATI GPU wiki indeed the V5200 GPU die size is little larger than x1400 even both shared same package design. I know about earlier x1400 package with GPU die in center too.
Model M54/R515 x1400 die.
Model M56/R530 is x1600, V5200 is based on x1600 XT. I know there is V5250 as well but not documented in wiki.

Off topic, but I'll ask because I'm curious... why an x64 OS on a T60p, with a 3GB RAM limit?
