my current T61 status:

14' widesreen
T8300
official 2.30
NVS 140M


these days i want to upgrade my brother to X9000 and FX 570.

need i flush my bios? or some other actions first?

You cannot upgrade a 14" widescreen T61 to FX570M, does not exist for that model.
You can swap out your T8300 for the X9000, but it will run very hot in such a small case.
If you want a reliable, tested X9000, buy one from Forum member TuuS.
