Ok, well that english wasnt too good (no offense) but im assuming your battery isnt charging so your battery is probably so dead that it wont charge, you will have to replace the battery, no alternatives.

Folks, sorry you misunderstood my problem. The amber battery "low battery" light always stays on but the battery is fully charged and charges when the battery gets low but the amber light never goes off

Thanks

You could have a short on the inverter board that is causing the amber light to stay on. You should remove the front bezel of your T60 and take a look. So it stays on for everything? Does it stay on when the laptop is shut?

If at full charge the light is amber, that means the battery's full charge capacity is significantly depreciated.

See: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/migr-62718

Your battery's full charge capacity is down to 5-20% of its original design capacity. You can run HWMonitor to check your battery's wear level. Looks like this: https://s4.postimg.org/rpmb3g1a5/Screen ... .15_PM.png

Your battery is probably worn to over 80%. You may want to replace your battery.
