How much worse is Samsung v. LG and Sharp for WUXGA??

#1 Post by Thinkpad4by3 » Thu Jul 06, 2017 10:54 am

Ok, I know that the Samsung is worse than the LG and Sharp is cheap and beautiful, as RealBlackStuff has made clear. I've seen T61p's with supposedly Samsung panels but I can't see any noticeable difference. Can you not see the difference through the camera? Does anyone have a Samsung panel,LG panel, or Sharp panel to take a picture of?
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.

The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.

The Samsung's viewing angles tend to be worse and colors are duller.
