to the BlueTooth@Home life ...
From what I've read ... around the WWW ...
seems that ... Win7 & BlueTooth (audio) don't "play well together" ...
They certainly haven't been putting a smile on my face ...
over the (most) recent 9months ... or so ...
Anyone ("out there") have any success stories ...
involving a T61, Win7 ... & BluetoothAudio
I've (so far) seemingly experienced (almost) every "situation/issue"
convoluting any (sort of) "worthwhile/quality" BluetoothAudio@Home experience ...
involving a T61, Win7 ... & BluetoothAudio ...
Even when there was any BlueToothAudio@Home ...
via my Win7T61 ... the audio/sound was better ...
via (one of) my CellPhone(s) & (one of) my BlueTooth HeadPhones ...
I'm (still) wondering ... if/how ...
any worthwhile/quality W7T61 BluetoothAudio@Home experience/s ...
might be possbile
It's Windows 7. It does not have the proper support for stereo audio BT.

Today ... I "changed my tune"; i.e.,
I'm no longer ... "singin' the blues"
After searching ... & searching ... (& searching ) ...
Today I managed to enable QUALITY BlueToothAudio on my T61
I found various/differing (reported) solutions ...
and (this time 'round) decided to first try Lenovo's In-House "Package" ~
which ... I found out ... gets the job done
Previously I could pair ... yet not connect devices ...
After downloading/installing the above LenovoPackage,
a Control item appeared
in each (paired) BlueToothDevice Windows7 "ContextMenu" ~
which basically results in "Connecting" the BTDevice with the T61
(The audio quality was/is also as good as
the audio quality on any of my CellPhones ... or my T43 ...)
Windows 7 (Starter) on my T43 seems to (internally) handle "connecting" with paired BTdevices
better than Win7Pro on my T61 (currently) does ...
I bought a "pre-owned" USB "dongle" off of Craigslist for my T43 ...
and tried out the various "driver solutions" as per the dongle's wwwSupportPage ...
Win7S on my T43 does NOT show the
"Bluetooth peripheral device driver not found" DeviceManager message ...
that Win7P on my T61 (still) does ...
I have read that ... that message is ... irrelevant ...
and ... seeing a how I still/now have BTAudio on my T61 regardless ...
that may/might indeed be the case ...
A Nexus HelpForum Thread suggests
that downloading/installing a ASUS DeviceDriverCollection "Package"
will "fix" the "Bluetooth peripheral device driver not found" DeviceManager message ...
I have not (yet ) installed that package ...
Various other webpages propose a Windows Mobile Device Center package/solution ...
I previously tried (& rejected) that
