ThinkPad T60 Bluetooth Question(s)

Hello, I was wondering if the bluetooth would be able to be used with my atheros ar9380? I know some Intel cards feature bluetooth, I'm not sure about atheros cards though, and my T60 is equipt with the bluetooth card in the lid, how can I get it to work, if it is even possible?

The AR9380 is Wifi only. I think T60 generation never had Wifi+Bluetooth combos; the Bluetooth was always a separate device.

I know that, but it seems like the Bluetooth won work with this wifi card, what can I do?

There's no such thing. They are not related.

Don't really know what to tell you here. Wifi is one device, Bluetooth is another. They work (or do not work) independently of each other.

Some Atheros cards like the AR9004WB-1NG has Bluetooth integrated in, if you are interested in getting one of those.

This is a little vague, is your Bluetooth-equipped T60 able to pair up with another Bluetooth-equipped machine/phone? Could you describe what is not working properly for your Bluetooth device? Does your T60's Bluetooth LED light up when it is powered on?

Wi-Fi is a separate communications system from Bluetooth.

Think of having a pair of FRS walking talkies as one system, and a pair of 2-meter Ham rigs for the other.

It's two separate radio systems.
