I've ordered a couple of cheap microsd card readers on ebay, and while they are read and recognized perfectly fine on the t60 using a 2gb microsd card, the t60 won't recognize a 64gb microsd card. It always asks if I want to format the card, even if it's formatted to the correct format already.
It's formatted to the standard FAT32, or something like that, and it's recognized in a 8.1 tablet and a W7 t500

This is not a computer limitation; for the computer it's a simple USB device. The limitation can reside either in the card reader or in your operating system; in your case, since you say it works on other systems, it must be the latter.

Re: Can the T60 read 64GB micro SD cards with a usb card reader?
The 64GB card is an SDXC card, in which is possible it isn't supported by the OS depending on what OS you are using but likely that cheap reader wasn't designed for high-capacity SDXC cards.

Re: Can the T60 read 64GB micro SD cards with a usb card reader?
I have a Nokia 808 phone with a 64 gb micro sd card in it. My T60 with Win 8.1 64 bit recognises it just fine, when I connect it to the laptop.

Re: Can the T60 read 64GB micro SD cards with a usb card reader?
I believe Vista required hotfix KB975823 for large SD cards. Win 7 without SP1 also needed a hotfix.
If running XP also note this https://www.centon.com/support/90-windo ... 128gb-card
"SDXC cards are formatted with the exFAT file system. The exFAT file system is supported by OS X 10.6.5 or later, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, and Windows XP SP2 or SP3 with Hotfix KB955704. Without Hotfix KB955704, Windows XP may experience trouble reading, writing or formatting media formatted as exFAT. Flash based storage media (like SD cards) that is larger than 32GB is formatted as exFAT due to a Microsoft limitation of the FAT32 file system."
