T61 Bluetooth Settings in BIOS - do they exist?

I'm finishing up with several T-61 rebuilds and closing in on the Bluetooth adapters using Windows 10 Pro 1809. It has been difficult to find these in Device Manager, and although physically present none of them show up. They are of the FRU 39T0487 variety (Bluetooth Daughter Card - 2; Broadcom BCM2045B ?; USB: VID_0A5C&PID_2110). I can find a driver for this in the Bluetooth driver 6_2_1_3100.

Unlike the BIOS for my T-520, I see no entry in Middleton's 2.29 BIOS for the T-61 (I would have expected to find this Security I/O section along with all the other settings (Serial, Parallel, etc., etc.).

I am assuming I have to install both the Bluetooth and Keyboard Integration drivers. Are there any other dependences?

As a last upgrade, I understand the Bluetooth 4.0 card (60Y3303, Broadcom BCM20702; USB: VID_0A5C&PID_2110 ) can be installed instead, and I do have Bluetooth 6.5.1.4500 driver that supports that.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I don't think there was ever an option or a setting in the T61's BIOS that disabled or enabled Bluetooth. My R61i does not have such a setting, either.

You could try using IBM_ECW to manually start up the Bluetooth adapter of yours, via the 'Power on Bluetooth' button.

No, I believe the Bluetooth driver and the keyboard integration driver are all that is needed. The keyboard integration driver is optional, though.

In T61 BIOS / Security / I/O Access there is a setting for BT Enabled/Disabled.
