Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to libreboot a ThinkPad T60 that has ATI graphics? I have been researching it and people are say both yes and no... Still not sure if it’s possible.
All input appreciated
It is theoretically possible, however no one has reverse engineered the ATI VGABIOS, whereas they have for the Intel VGABIOS (or it was open to begin with; not sure which).
(2019) I am still on the lookout for for T/X60's with Intel graphics (or chassis, displays, parts) to make Libreboot machines out of. Kindly PM me if you are willing to part with anything.
There is native initialization for Intel graphics (probably based on the chipset documentation provided by Intel), but none for ATI, so you really need the ATI VGA BIOS.

Hello,
I'm trying to remove the ME in my T400 for Libreboot, but I can't find anything related specifically for my machine and everything else I come...
Turn down the HEAT!
I've done what I could, as far as the heat sink is concerned, though I'm getting some pretty weird ideas for a water cooled mod,...
