Hello,
I just got a used T60 14" today and it was working perfectly fine. But then I opened the screen and heard a cracking sound. I did think it was because of the age, sadly the screen frame/ the hinge broke. Now I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone had the same issue before and/or knows how to fix it?

Maybe you can get a dead T60 with good hinges and do the swap.

Get the repair-manual from the HMM link at the top of this page.
It includes all the part numbers as well.
