T61p with a P9700

Hello everyone today i managed to find a t61p 14 inch 4:3 for 25 eurs. Fully working with Nvidia chip and manifacture date of 08/07. I was looking trough a forum for a guide to install a p9700. Thing is i couldnt find much and it was unclear if i had to do physical modifications to the board or would custom bios like Middleton's do the job? It would be really helpful if anyone could elaborate on that topic or link me a guide for it. I am also planning to turn the machine into T601F so any sources for LED mod would be helpful as well.

IIRC only the 08/08 or later chips got the revised chip so you'll still have to be careful.

The P9700 is a 1066Mhz FSB CPU so the Middleton's bios won't help.
