Will the T60 feature the Intel Duo T2700 With VT Support?

An interesting article at http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/01/16 ... re_duo_vt/ indicates that the T2300, T2400, T2500 and T2600 Dual Core chips won't necessarily support Intel's Virtualisation Technology (VT). The VT sounds interesting - I know there's plenty of options for running multiple Operating Systems simultaneously, but this would be a good future technology to have built in.

So, does anyone know with the T60 is likely include the T2700 in it's initial line up

Don't count on the 2700 to start with.

I wouldn't start out counting on it either; but at the rate they and Intel are going, I wouldn't be suprised to see it come along later in the year.

aswell as merom will come along later in the year, and thats really the interresting thing and not a Yonah with VT support
