Too many options - help!

There are way too many options for the T60. I'm no expert, so I need help. The sales guys seem to know nothing. In fact, my rep told me to call back on the 6th, since he has no training regarding the T60 and doesn't even know how to configure them. I would love some advice. I'm looking at the 2623-DAU, but I'm not sure. I know that there is also a T2500 processor available for both 80 and 100 GB harddrives, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money over the T2400. Which is more important, having the speed of the T2500 or the size of the 100 GB? I'm thinking I need to choose only 1 of thees to keep the cost down a little. I am also planing to up the RAM to at least 1, probably 1.5 GB. Finally, I really want both a CD and a DVD writeable drive. I was told that I can get both, but I'm wondering if the DVD recordable is even a good one. Any thoughts? I don't know anything about recordable DVDs, other than it would sure be nice to back up my stuff on a DVD as opposed to a bunch of cds!

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I would always go with a larger driver over a slightly faster processor, not only does it give you more storage space it should improve operating speed too.

The multi-burner in the T60 is a good one - it will pretty much burn any DVD standard you can get and all DVD burners will also burn cds. IMHO I wouldn't recommend a system that can't burn DVDs these days as most people will find benefit from the facility.
