help me decide between 2 models

I'm trying to decide between the 2623D8U T60p and 200764U T60.
Based on what I can tell, the T60p seems just has powerful and has the 9 cell battery and faster hard drive but is $100 cheaper.
What is the difference between the grapics? I do some casual gaming and don't know if the FireGL is really appropriate for that. I'm also a little concerned about lost battery life from the heavier graphics .
Any opinions?

Actually I guess it looks like the screens are different. On the T60: 14.1 inch SXGA+ IPS (1400x1050) TFT Display with wide viewing angle and high density display (Standard) vs 14.1 inch SXGA+ (1400x1050) TFT (Standard) on the T60p

Most likely a typo. I haven't heard of a 14" IPS offering. The same thing showed up with the T43 launch and was an error.
The T60p has the better video card, so if the other features comapre favorably this is a no-brainer!

I ended up ordering the regular 200764U T60 since the sales rep ended up getting me $600 off the advertised price and couldn't do the same with the T60p.
Estimated ship date of 3/22

hi john,
can you tell me how you got the sales rep to give you the $600 discount? That's a pretty big discount. Also, the model you ordered doesn't appear to be on the lenovo website. Did you just tell the rep the model # you want?
thanks
chris

Johhn14,
I also would like to know if there is some special discount/promotion being offered.

I was just asking her questions about the flex view screen and she asked if Iwas ready to buy today that she could get save me some money. I asked her to tell me how much she could give me off and she quoted $2349 ---- 600 off the listed price.
I didn't do anything special.

Just ordered the 2007-62U. Also got a significant discount. It lists for $2699. But they gave me a "first time buyer" discount and I got it for $2159.
The person who I spoke with was also pretty definite about it being at least 6 weeks to shipping and 8 weeks at the outset. He said he's a senior representative and that's what he's seen in the past when new products are released. He said the estimates on the web sight are usually a bit optimistic.

My rep was also emphatic about it not shipping until late March early April and made sure that this wouldn't be a problem with me.
She brought it up, not me.
