T60p 15" display question
T60p 15" display question
Do any of the 15" T60p displays use a brighter display as the top end "Z" series are supposed to?
Re: T60p 15" display question
they are brighter than a standard LCD (200 nits on all the 15" UXGA T60p panels vs. 150 nits on the standard displays), but not as bright as the 300 nit MaxBright displays on some Z60m models. all the 15" T60p panels are UXGA resolution and are made by BOE Hydis, which traditionally makes a very nice panel. these panels are also FlexView displays, which means they use IPS technology to improve viewing angles and brightness.rocketman wrote:Do any of the 15" T60p displays use a brighter display as the top end "Z" series are supposed to?
Hydis also makes the 12.1" XGA display on the X41 tablet, which has exceptional viewing angles and 180 nits of brightness. I've seen several Hydis panels on some T42's and T43's, and can say definitely that they are superior to Samsung panels with equivalent specs. it's not a huge difference, but they seems to be a bit brighter, with truer whites and better contrast.
here is the parts info for the 15" T60/p:
