Best part was that I called up Lenovo since it was originally scheduled for 4/25, and they confirmed that it was backordered, and the date was pushed back to 5/15 on the order status page.

Agreed on, but UXGA, 9 cell and 100G/7200 are very appreciatedI think anything without the ATI V5200 will be faster.
Though if you want it by May 5th, you're better off finding a retailer that has the model you want IN STOCK.

I called UPS and they said it was physically at their international hub in Louisville. When I asked why the intermediate stops in Korea and Alaska weren't listed (I ordered a 1951 44U a month ago), they said that, regardless, I would get my laptop by 10:30 Tuesday morning. i'm in the same boat as you, i've just been waiting a week less than you. A friend of mine who works at IBM said mine was built the 29th so i should expect it to ship by wednesday. You are probably in the same boat, so HOPEFULLY it's just a little bit longer. From memory, most of the prolonged issues have been with the 15" T60p models, particularly the 2623-DDU. That said, some people already have them in their hands, even though they ordered after others who don't have them yet. There was a rumour that this had something to do with availability of the V5200, but we may never know the truth, whether it be shipping hiccups, manufacturing problems or design issues.zzyss wrote:Hi...
