For a few days now, I've been avoiding going to that site (primarily for sanity retention), and thinking they'd send me an e-mail when they shipped. After reading this, I thought, "why not?"

Great, turns out they shipped it and didn't e-mail me about it!

Well that's not fair since I ordered my 2623DDU on 2-27 and I just got my e-mail shipping confirmation.

arrrrrrg !!! I checked shipping status today and my ship date has been pushed back to 04/27/2006 from 04/12/2006. Is the pipeline drying up again? I'm thinking I should not have ordered the 2623DDU with the extra GB of RAM (installed). Anybody else get pushed back today?

Wow, I sure feel lucky, ordered my 2623DDU on 3/9 and its in the mail for this Friday, 3/24. Guess it pays to be an employee of big blue.

Don't dispair. I just called Lenovo and they said that the schedule aspect of the site isn't working well now, and they are actually working on my system right now, so I should be getting it ASAP. I am happier.

That is the same story that they told me also. Shipping date on the site went from 4/12 to 5/14. The rep on the phone started laughing and said that was ridiculous and that it should arrive around the first week of April.

my advanced dock shipped today, and i was greeted with the new estimated shipping date of 5/17! I'm sure i will get it before that based on experiences here, but i think it is quite silly. I just need to find out how to get a full sized PCIe video card to fit into the half slot lol

Ordered my 2623DDU on 3/9 and shipping date is 4/5. Altough web site shows not 4/20, I called Lenovo and they say it is still on target to ship 4/5

I called Lenovo rep today and he said there is a recent "constraint" involving the ATI Mobility video cards of 15 business days (starting from today). So the possibility exists for a ship date of 4/14/2006 (or sooner if I am lucky). He recommended that I order a T60 with "Intel graphics" for a quicker delivery if needed. I'm gonna hang tough for the V5200. RAM availability is not a problem for the T60, but it is for the T43 (just an FYI for potential T43 buyers). I did get an email that my Thinkpad Premium Leather carrying case shipped yesterday, so Lenovo has not totally left me in limbo.

should I expect?

From experience, does it take longer or
shorter than expected time?

BTW, I ordered a T60 with the ATI graphic
card so I am wondering if that is going to
delay things further.

I was quoted a shipping time of 6--8 weeks and they delivered in 3. If that helps. My machine's specs are in my sig.

ordered 2623D4U on 3/8, and got a est. ship date on 4/12, but few days ago it changed to 4/22......and everytime now when i check the order status it got pushed back one day....sigh

I mean, I ordered the T60 2623D7U. It's a Top-Seller model.

Aren't these notebooks already built since I am not
modifying their specs in any manner?

With that in mind, you really think it's gonna take 4 weeks
till it actually ships?! Then there's close to 2 additional weeks
just to ship it from overseas.

Well, you'll be getting yours before mine.

I ordered mine on 3/15 and the ship date has been pushed ahead 2 weeks just a couple days ago.

In fact, Lenovo sale's site does not list this model any more. I think they've run out.

Look at my ship and arrive dates in my sig. It does not take long at all to ship.
