Hello!

What is the difference between 2007-93g and 2008-93g? As far as I've been told, the only difference is that 2008-93g is a bit narrower than 2008-93g, but it sounds strange to me!

Best regards,

What country does the "g" denote? There is no equivalent model in the US to the 2008-93g.

Probably the country doesn't matter, so just skip the letter. I suppose the difference is country invariant.

Where did you see a reference to a 2008-93? In the US tabook there is no listing for such a model.

Gotcha. The 2007 comes with the usual 3-yr depot warranty. The 2008 comes with an on-site warranty.

OK.

Does on-site guarantee mean that some rapair guy comes to you to fix the problem whereas the depot guarantee means that you must submit it to somewhere?

Correct, in the US. Internationally the rules vary by country. Take a look at IWS (International Warranty Support) on THIS page to research the rules in your country.
