Hey,
So, I recently got a T60 with a SATA hard drive and decided to reformat it yesterday. In order to do so, I had to switch the hard drive mode to "compatibility" but I didn't read the part about it being necessary to load the Intel Matrix drivers during installation, and so I now have a newly installed copy of Windows but can't seem to switch my hard drive back to AHCI mode. Should I just reformat again or is there some way to enable it without doing that? Also, what's the difference between AHCI and compatibility mode anyways?
Thanks,
Nick
