small improvement

in earlier models, if you muted the sound, you have to unmute it first ancd then adjust the volume. Now after you have muted the sound, all you have to do is hit the volume buttons and it unmutes by itself!

both my T23 and T40 do that..

I think that they could use the colors of the battery icon more effectively. I would prefer that it go amber when discharging and flash at different intervals to warn of low power. Alternate amber and green while charging and then a steady green after it reaches 90 or 95%, or better yet put the LED and batt check button on the battery like a Powerbook does.

I don't like having to open the cover and check the battery level to see that it's got enough to go.
