The 20v DC Requirement

#1 Post by Scratch » Mon Apr 10, 2006 12:47 pm

Is this 20v requirement the end of Auto/Air adapters for ThinkPads?

The "ThinkPad 90W AC/DC Combo Adapter" is a dead link on the T60 Upgrades page. This will be painful for long international flights. I guess another 9 cell might be in order.

This is a pricey option though when you include the cost of the 2nd battery:

Model name 40Y7625
Description ThinkPad External Battery Charger
Web Price* $119.00

EDIT--------------------------

No it appears not to be a dead link, but a shipping/availablility delay. As they usually do, items are removed or locked if availability is limited.

A less brain-dead search on my part yielded the following:

ThinkPad 90W AC/DC Combo Adapter (US/Can/LA)
Model name 40Y7630
Web Price
$119.00*
Availability: Ships within 1-3 weeks**

Sorry...I'll try to better answer my own questions prior to posting in the future.
T'Pad 600e, 770x, A20p, A21p, A30p, A31p (2653-H3U), T43p (2668-Q2U) & T60p (2623-DDU)...it's an addiction.

I have one. FYI: It's pretty large. Smaller than the normal AC/DC 72W but larger than the slim AC/DC 72W.
