Font question

My new 200776U is working as advertised, but I have a question on the font size that the machine arrived set to. In the Windows settings area, everything is set to standard size,etc. The theme is set to "Windows Modified", which I have saved. If I change to the XP default, the font size goes back to a smaller text.

What was done to get this modified larger text? It is very big, and I would like something in between this and the standard XP default if possible.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I can't figure it out.

Well, when you adjust the DPI in Desktop Properties, Settings, Advanced, you have the option to set "Normal", "Large" or "Custom". In Custom mode you can set it to any desired value inbetween.
