Keyboard with squirky key covered under warranty?

I've a 39T0958 keyboard but some of the keys, especially the backspace produce a squirky noise each time it is pressed. Is that covered under warranty or do I need to purchase my own replacement?

Anyone else with this problem?

Thanks !

I think it is covered under warranty. Just call the Lenovo service center and let them know your problem. You may ask them to send replacement keyboard--I did the same thing with my T40 three years ago.

Yeah, I had pretty good luck getting replacement keyboards for similar small concerns. If the first person you talk to doesn't send you the keyboard, call back and try talking to someone else. It can be a little hit or miss, though most of the tech people I've dealt with so far are cool.
