Best Video Chip for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier

I plan to get a new Thinkpad T60. What chip would be best for Adobe Photoshop and Premiere work? The X1400 or the Fire GL 5200?

I would expect the X1400 would be fine for those applications since neither uses OpenGL. The FireGL is really optimized for OpenGL.
Adobe Premiere uses DirectX. The DirectX performance of the X1400 may exceed the FireGL due to the FireGL drivers.
Photoshop doesn't use animation.
I use Photoshop and opted not to pay for the FireGL.

Photoshop and Illustrator don't rely on the video card much at all; rather, it s more important to have large amounts of RAM and HDD space for Photoshop and Illustrator to use.

I have found that using a second HDD for the scratch disk helps almost as much as more RAM with both Photoship CS2 and Premiere 6.5.
I also find that the dual core is noticeably faster than the T42p/43p in tasks like video rendering. I am not sure whether the second HDD helps there or not.

Is the VGA out "tv-ready?" Can I plug a TV (via a VGA to composite adapter) into the T60 to view video in Premiere?
