Anyone tried removing and installing their keyboard?

In the T60 hardware maintenance manual, there is a portion that explains on the removal of the palm rest with fingerprint reader.

When removing the four screws from the base,

"Push at the sides of the palm rest so it bends upwards in the middle a little, and lift it away from the computer a little."

1) How easy is it to bend to palm rest upwards? Or how difficult is this step? :)

When installing,

"When installing: When you install the palm rest to the frame, take care not to damage the latches underside of the palm rest."

2) Are the latches suppose to snap into place?

Generally, is it as complicated as what is explained in the manual?

Thanks!

It was really easy adding memory and taking the stuff off. Just the 5 screws on the bottome and everything came apart smoothly.

Here is a link to the Lenovo site and the movie for removing and replacing the palmrest, memory, etc. You will notice this movie is for the Z60m, however it's the same as the T60. I know because I have upgraded the memory on both my Z & T models.
You will be removing 4 screws from the bottom of the computer. Looking carefully you will notice little keyboard icons next to the 4 screws that are to be removed.
In regards to removing and refitting the palm rest, if you take some time and just jiggle it around you will have no problem.

These movies sure make it look easy, both the removal and replacement:
