A question for the power management settings experts:
When I switch from AC to battery power, the screen goes a bit dimmer-- yet in my power scheme, the brightness is set to 7 of 7 for both AC and battery power.
Using the Fn-Home and Fn-End brightness keys, I've noticed that there are eight brightness settings under both battery and AC power (levels 0-7). Brightness level 7 is definitely brighter under AC power than under battery power.
Am I missing something in Power Manager? Is there a BIOS setting I should check?
Thanks!
Brightness under battery power/Power Manager misbehaving?
