Third NIC Card

#1 Post by Tom Murdock » Mon Apr 24, 2006 11:28 am

Hello,

Is there a way that I can plug in 3rd NIC card in IBM Tinkpad T60 [one card is built in, second on is through PCMCI slot]?

Appreciate,

Tom

An express card network adpater? Looks like there is one made by xterasys.

Or use the wireless as a slow third.

Planning to run some sort of server or network device off your T60?

Yes, you can. The easiest way is to a PCMCIA LAN adapter or a USB LAN adapter. They run about $10 to $25.

What are the advantages of having more than one Wifi adapter at any one time? Does that even work?

I don't think Tom was asking about wireless NICs.
