REQ: T60 preinstalled US Hotfix files

Hi there,

Got my T60 two week ago and it was preinstalled localized Windows XP SP2 (Chinese version). Since I prefer Enflisg UI therefore I asked my MIS guy to apply one legal copy of Windows XP EN version for me and I got it yesterday.

So, My T60 is carrying Windows XP EN version right now but I still need the original preinstalled hotfix files which preinstalled on EN version TP60 model and most of these files can not get from Windows Update site.

I need these hotfix files to complete my installation therefore if someone can email me this files will be highly appreciation. These hotfix was located in:

C:\IBMTOOLS\OSFIXES\WXPUP

All files in this folder except DOTNET11. Thanks for help.

You really don' t need any Windows hotfixes that are not shown on the Windows Update Webpage after you installed Service Pack 2.

Also, the folder that you requested is 52M so I doubt anyone will e-mail it to you.

FWIW, I looked up the first few Q-numbers listed in that folder and they didn't show up on the SP3 hotfix website so they may be pre-SP2 hotfixes.
