I'm not sure if the preinstalled ram is two 512MB or one 1GB. Because I'm thinking of getting another 1GB for it. thanks

My 2623DDU came with one 1GB stick installed, and an open slot. I upgraded mine to 1.5GB by adding an extra 512MB, however I really want to boost it up to 3GB when the 2GB sticks come down to a reasonable price.

One slot has 1.0 GB memory module.
One slot is empty and awaiting the installation of additional memory.

I put another 1.0GB module in mine and it's fast!
