T60 LCD

Has anyone had the chance to disassembly the T60 LCD on the 14.1 or 15 inch? I want to know what kind or brand of display they use and what the exact model number is. Not the IBM FRU# or PN# but the actually number from either samsung or LP or who ever makes them. Want to upgrade the screen like I did with the T4X series. Hoping it might be cheaper to buy from ebay then from IBM since they charge a arm and leg for this stuff. Thanks

i'm interested in this too. i'm going to add a bluetooth card to my t60 and a new LCD cable, so i'm eager to see how difficult disassembling the monitor will be.

also, does this void the warranty (installing the bluetooth card and LCD cable)?

I think so, based upon my conversation with a service rep the other day.
