t60 with a 2g single cpu?

i appreciate the backbone cage of t60. the sata disk and chip set
why not provide t60 with 2g single cpu.

and want to ask developer here.
if we run esclipse or netbean and db2/oracle at the same time . does that mean really for duo that sychronous computing is happening.
