I've never seen prices for a Thinkpad like this, even EPP pricing is higher. Even used T4x machines go for more than this. If you can tolerate 1024x768 resolution, this is the deal of a century.

authorized Lenovo/IBM reseller?

IBM business partner, plus it has good
reviews on resellerratings. I will buy from there ($30 extra for quality service and peace of mind).

Just remember those prices are for the 1 year warranty only, not the 3 year everyone wants to get..

Fine by me considering that if I bought a T60 I would be yanking that Core Duo/Solo chip out to put a Merom in.
