Hi, I just got a new T60P after a 4-week wait :D :D :D

I'm curious about the temperature of the unit. What is the best way to get a reading of the CPU and GPU temperatures? I found a program called Thinkpad Fan Control, but it was labelled as being for the T43. Any ideas?

There is a thread on the first page that talks about the Fan Control program. Check it out.

If you just want to monitor the temperatures, you can use a program called Mobile Meter. It is free. You can get it by doing a search on google.

Keep the TP FCU in BIOS mode, then just read off the temps; it works for the T60 as well. It will display temperatures from the various sensors on board.

Hope you enjoy your new T60P. :D
