vRAM on 2623D6U

#1 Post by zixy_tris » Fri May 19, 2006 11:36 pm

Hi Guys,

How much vRam is on 2623D6U. It was supposed to be 64MB. But when I was looking in system details under PC doctor it shows 512MB whoa!.
I checked ATI site for X1300 but they do not mention anything about how much RAM they had.

What do other 2623D6U users say.

Many of those cards use some system memory as "virtual" video memory when needed. In other words, the card may have 64MB memory and stealing 448MB of system memory for video, for a total reported of 512.

Hi. I have 2623D6U, I no longer have access to PC doctor, but when running dxdiag and check at the display I have 256 MB aprox. of videomemory.

Do check dxdiag from ''run'' menu and see what it says.

Well, how much RAM do you have installed on your machine?
I have only 512...perhaps if I installed more it would show like yours...
