Anybody has tried that? I wonder if there is any chance that a 64MB X1300, 1.5GB ram and Dual 1.83G CPU can handle it smoothly...

I was actually going to try this out in the next few days when I have time. Will try and give you a quick review.

My specs are lower than yours. I'm hoping that it'll run ok once the settings are lowered.

1.6ghz, x1300, 1.25gb ram

UPDATE:

Played Oblivion for a couple of hours.

The game does run on the T60. Haven't had any issues or crashes so far.

In terms of performance, all settings need to be at the lowest (except for maybe the view distance) for it to be playable. It runs just ok with a bit of choppiness in some areas. However, every situation that I have encountered so far has been playable.

If you want to play this game because of its visual experience, do not think about doing this on the T60. On the other hand, if you are in it for the gameplay/storyline, then I think it will be enjoyable on the T60.

These are my specs for those that are interested:

Intel Core Duo T2300
1.25gb RAM
ATI X1300
40gb 5400rpm hard drive
