One stuck green pixel: return? exchange?

I have one stuck green pixel on my otherwise beautiful 1600x1200 T60p display. It is near the center of the screen and is bugging me extremely (e.g. while watching DVDs and working on my photography projects). Like all of you, I paid a princely sum for this machine and would prefer not to stare 24/7 at a defect. What are my options?
I have tried all the stuck pixel fixes (running flashing RGB movies and so forth overnight --
http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp ), but to no avail. Likewise, I have massaged the pixel, but nothing.
I have read the Lenovo warranty policy, which says I need like 10+ stuck pixels to get my T60p serviced.
What can I do? Since I am in my 30 day return period, will Lenovo promptly send me a replacement? Note that I waited 4+ weeks for my laptop, and I would prefer not to wait for such a long time again. Further, I would rather not buy a new one (thus waiting 4+ weeks) and return my current one.

It sounds to me like you are unhappy with the machine.
You should return it, because you will continually feel like you spent all that $ and didn't get exactly what you wanted. Plus, your photography work depends on images being accurately displayed. The bad pixel is thus interfering with your work.
So again, I strongly urge you to return the machine. Consumers need to let companies know that bad pixels are not acceptable on premium products.

I had a stuck green pixel (very bright one too) near the center of the screen. As you noted, this is most obvious when viewing DVDs or photos. I could have lived with a stuck pixel near the edge (in fact the laptop had a couple of those too), but not a bright one in the center. I ended up returning mine.
The new laptop had zero stuck pixels. The new laptop came with a Samsung screen, which to my eyes, was a little less pleasing than the Hydis screen on the first laptop, but this is minor relative to the pixel issue.

Did you exchange the laptop or return it and buy another one? Did you incur the full wait to get it shipped (I had to wait 4 weeks to get mine)?

Returned and bought another one - same model. No wait, both laptops were delivered within days of ordering. I think they had lots of this particular model on the assembly lines when I ordered.

do you have any backlight leakage? (take a look at the screen from the left and right sides of the notebook, where the screen meets the housing - do you see any white light?)

My brand new 14.1" SXGA+ (Samsung) has what you call "backlight leakage" on the right side, but not on the left.
I don't see why this is a cause for concern.

FYI, IBM recently replaced an LCD on my R51 due to light leakage on lower left and rigtht sides of the display. No hassles.

If it does not bother you, it isn't a cause for concern. I could actually tell, and upon futher inspection noticed the entire right side leaked an absurd amount of backlight.
