dear

i pay more attention to whether the video adapter is integerated or seperated. i just hope not to cost too much memory on video, so i preferr seperated video adapter to integerated one.

but the seperated video adapter is really can take all displaying function job, or just is used just to achieve another displaying function for example increasing lighting.

Both video adapters allow you to extend your deskop to an external monitor.

The integrated graphics is fine if you're running standard business applications (Microsoft Office) or watching DVD's.

But if you run graphics-intensive applications or play games, then you probably need one of the ATI graphics solutions. Also, the better performing your graphics, the more likely it is that you'll be compatible with future operating systems (like Windows Vista) and all of the features that come with them.
