Hi
My t60 is stunning .. but there is something annoying..my Samsung display is very pixelated (grainy).. not as flat as others tft's I've seen.
Is that normal?
Thanks

I have a Samsung 14.1" SXGA+ too... I wouldn't consider it "grainy".
What do you mean? Is there some way we can compare "graininess"?

But when I look to my firefox icon.. its normal there..

Could it be that your screen is running at 16-bit color depth? That will result in color banding that I guess could be described as "grainy."

Mario, still not sure what you mean -- is it the edges of the icon, or the colours?
If your Firefox icon looks fine, then it must just be Windows settings and not the screen itself.

Yes, well spotted -- I only noticed this this morning (after having it for a week). Lenovo must ship them set to 16-bit colour by default.

I also noticed a certain grainyness on my display, but it's a Hydis (14" SXGA). I can see it when looking on it at a flat angle and scroll a window, but it's noticable on normal angels if I look for it, too. I suppose it's something in the protective layer.
