Please help with Unknown Device after clean W2k installation

#1 Post by brosen » Wed May 31, 2006 10:08 pm

In the Device Manager -> Other Devices -> Unknown Device, I have a device without the proper drivers, it says the following :

- Memory range: FED40000-FED40FFF
- Location: on Intel(R) 82801GBM (ICH7-M) LPC Interface

I did install all the drivers, what it could be ?, please help, thanks

Did you install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver? See my post here for a quick review: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... highlight=
Not sure how much of this is applicable to a W2K installation as opposed to WXP installation, but be sure to look at the user guide that came with your T60 - check the section on clean installing W2K.
