Wrong RAM size of my graphic card after BIOS update

Today I have updated the BIOS at my T60 to Version 1.06 and have the following problems:
-> 512MB RAM size are displayed instead of 256MB
(128MB VRAM and 128MB shared)
-> Colorproblem. OS undepened. Tested with Debian Sid and WinXP SP2. The colors of the OS were displayed like at a high compressed JPEG image. Looks like a brush effect.
Has someone the same problems like me with his T60?
Here are some technical details about my TP:
T60 2007-63G (T2500 CoreDuo)
ATI Mobile Radeon X1400
TFT Screen resolution 1400x1050
BIOS version 79ET61WW 1.06
Embedded Controller Version: 1.04
