Delivery Times from Lenovo

How long does it normally take for the notebooks to be delivered.
I am waiting for my T60p for last 4 weeks, no news yet of shipping.

Well, there was an entire thread about the shipping dates of T60s ever since you could have ordered one.

Also, there is a graph in there that shows what appears to be decreasing wait times for certain models, also plotted/binned over the over the date ordered and users who ordered a specific model.

Unfortunately there is no predictable timeline. From my perspective it's largely influenced by the shortage of components from time to time, and the very high demand for these new models.
The first T60 I ordered arrived in 4 weeks, the second one 6 weeks, and the 3rd one, I have waited nearly 13 weeks and still no word. Add to that, the random distribution when they release the computers makes this worse. I just had this conversation yesterday with my Lenovo Corp Rep. The particular model I'm waiting for showed up in the inventory of some 3rd part resellers! My question was how did they get them, when I ordered direct from Lenovo a very long time ago. The answer was (IMHO) jibberish. Especially considering that I have a very good rep. I do not fault him, I simply think he is being kept in the dark.

Hello!
I'm curious because it takes many weeks for an order to be shipped. In case a certain model's price ordered before goes down, are we stuck with the price at the time it was purchased or do we pay for the lower price?

A number of people on the forum have had success complaining to Lenovo, who then gave them a partial refund.
