hi everyone,
just purchased my T60 last week - very happy. was tossing up between the macbook pro and the T60. guess which won?! [btw i am a mac user otherwise - so go figure]
anyway...
i have two 19" LCD's which i have my desktop utilizing.
i have been so far using the Advanced MDock to run just the laptop lcd and one of the screens.
is it possible for me to utilize the FULL benefits of my two 19"? if so - would i be going down the path of a DualHead - or... is there another way?!
thank you.

You can run one of your 19" screens off the DVI, and the other off the VGA. When you do this, the build-in Thinkpad LCD will be blank. Use the Catalyst Control Center to set this up.
Other options include getting a PCMCIA video adapter like the one at
www.VillageTronic.com, using a USB-based video adapter (poor performance), or upgrading to the Advanced Dock and putting a PCI-Express video card in it.

wow - never even though it would work - mind you works like an absolute charm!
this is a very nice surprise - wasn't expecting it to be able to do that.
now if only i could find a kvm so that i could also have two monitors on the desktop...
any ideas?
as before i had the following to the computer - one monitor [dvi] to the desktop directly.
one monitor to a kvm and then to the desktop [rgb].
now i have one monitor to the kvm (which swaps between the laptop and the desktop) and the other permanently in the dock [dvi].
any way to have the dvi also in the desktop?
