Rescue and Recovery taking up disk space

#1 Post by ronli_84 » Sat Jun 10, 2006 1:55 pm

Hi everyone,

I have just bought a thinkpad T60. I used the Think Vantage software's "Rescue and Recovery" program to create a backup image. However, after I deleted the backup image, the "Rescue and Recovery" program still reports 0.9GB space used for backup (even though there is no more backup image anymore).

Does anyone know how I can resolve the above problem? or know where the "Rescue and Recovery" program actually stores and checks for backup image?

Here is a picture of wha the program reports

Thanks in advance

Geez, I don't see why you are so concerned about free space. You still have 72.5 GB!

You can boot up in safe mode to get to the backup directory. IIRC, you will have to change permissions before you can do anything with it though. The backups should be located in the following directory: C:\RRbackups\
DKB
