New T60P (customized 2623DDU) Arrived!

Today, I received a T60p 2623DDU, but Atheros instead of Intel a/b/g wireless adapter, and no Verizon WWAN integrated adapter. Here are the specs: T2500 (2.0 ghz Core Duo), 1 gig RAM, 100 gb-7200rpm hard drive, 15" UXGA LCD, etc.

IT RUNS GREAT! No loud fan, no high temperatures, no skipping DVD player, no crashes even after I installed all ThinkVantage automatic patches and updates. Not even creaky palmrests.

I say this not to brag, but to balance out all the other posts about various T60 problems. Not to criticize those posts, of course, just to show that there are cases where the Thinkpad arrives before the scheduled ship date (it took exactly 2 weeks from time I ordered to arrival at my door) and is utterly problem-free. Or who knows, maybe Lenovo is working out the kinks in the T60, I'm getting a revised model.
