bye bye CSS 7 .... CSS 6 is back

#1 Post by Cassirer » Sun Jun 18, 2006 3:13 pm

:D :P

thanks to the good people at the forum link below ... CSS 7 is gone and CSS 6 is back ... and everything is working perfectly ... I had almost everything with CSS 7 working except the password manager for the website ... and from what I gathered it was not going to work ... in any case I saw no major improvement in CSS 7 ....

1) unistall CSS 7 from control panel
2) shut down
3) start up and enter windows via last used mode (got the blue screen) ...
4) once in windows ... Install 6 and restarted
5) it of course did not go that well ... trick here seemed to be to update a patch and reboot one more time .... enter bios to restart the security chip ... set all passwords ...
6) enter windows, reboot to get it all working ...

and now no problems ...

sorry it is not very professional my approach ... but it is what i did and CSS 7 is bye bye and CSS 6 reinstalled and all is working so take it for what it is worth ...

thanks for the help ... links for instructions and CSS 6 below ...

give up on the CSS 7 ... there is some serious problem with it and i personally would not trust it until they are fixed ...
