I have a T60p 2623DDU with 2G of RAM. I check the PC Doctor for the memory info and it show 2.9v for RAM. I do remember that the DDR2 PC5300 only 1.8v. Also I use the CPU-Z to verify RAM information and it only show up size, voltage, but no SPID info for RAM. Does it normal for this kind of RAM / T60x or anyone has the same issue like me?
If you have the T60p, can you take a look your PC Doctor, and see what is your RAM voltage? Thanks.

I wonder if it is showing the max rated voltage? Perhaps with the cpu freq clocking, ram voltage also changes accordingly?

Sounds like you might have PC4200 RAM - have you actually checked the chip(s)? - just take the palmrest off with the 4 screws indicated on the base

Google up Everest (by lavalys) and use there program. Lists off tons of computer specs, one of which will be current memory speed, serial number, model number, voltage, etc from each memory chip installed. Oh and brand too of the modules

Yes, I am sure that it is DDR2 PC5300 1Gb Samsung RAM. It is the replacement from IBM for my old MT 1Gb RAM that cause my T60p restart or reboot beep sounds (1-3-3-1).

Please, the only thing you need to do is checking your system info for your RAM voltage reading? 2.9v do not sound right to me.
