#1 Post by BestMoneyEverSpent » Wed Jun 28, 2006 3:49 pm

and as the name suggests, it was the best money i've ever spent.

but now onto my question.

when i plug in the power my battery starts beeping and my screen starts to flicker.

if someone is familiar with what is happening, could you please give me instructions on how to solve this? and go easy on me...im an IBM virgin and im still getting use to BIOS and thinkvantage and all of that good stuff.

thanks again. :D

BMES, mine flickers one time and beeps one time, if yours does more than that you might call tech support and get a case number and get it documented.

well mine does it once, but it does it once every 3-4 seconds.

The 2 choices as I see it are, in this specific order:
1) Call and arrange to return if for another new one.
2) Call tech support and work with them.

I would choose to return it first if you have that option, which you do if you ordered direct from Lenovo (30days). Or perhaps not, if purchased from a reseller. The reason I suggest returning it, is that you paid to get a new fault free computer out of the box. This may or not be something "easy" to deal with so why subject yourself to that if you do not have to?

My two cents... :D
