After updating my T60 from IBM website, my HDD got corrupted & I will be going to IBM service centre to reformat my HDD. As my HDD is only 40gb, I am thinking to buy a bigger HDD. I came accross the forum here saying that for T60 can only use Hitachi 7K100 (7200rpm) HDD or you have other suggestion for me. Do you think I can buy & change the new HDD & get the IBM ppl to install the factory default software since they are going to install the software for me.
Anything for me to take note if the changes can be done.
